SPARTA, NJ- Vincent Perrella, owner of The Printing Center in Sparta, has been associated with the Hampton Township Rotary Club for at least 25 years, by his own estimation.  He is not, nor has he ever been, an officer within the club, and is instead listed as an “honorary” member on the club’s own roster.  Recently, the club decided to honor Vince, citing his dedication to the group over the years and giving him the opportunity to earmark a $1,000 check for the charity of his choice.  Vince chose Project Self-Sufficiency, a local non-profit organization which assists local families with economic self-sufficiency services.  The check was presented to Project Self-Sufficiency’s Executive Director Deborah Berry-Toon at a recent club meeting.

“The Hampton Rotary is one of the smaller clubs in the area, but we are one of the ones that give the most money to non-profit organizations in the area,” remarked Keith Mitchell, Hampton Rotary Club President.  The Hampton Township Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International, a service organization which encourages local business owners to create positive, lasting change within their own communities.  The group meets on Tuesdays for breakfast at The Hampton Diner on Route 206 in Newton.  “We gave a check to Project Self-Sufficiency in honor of all that Vince has done for our organization.  It was good to be able to do something for Vince and I was glad to be able to support Project Self-Sufficiency.”

“I have been a supporter of Project Self-Sufficiency for many years,” noted Vince, detailing his involvement with the agency as a printing expert.  The Printing Center has stood behind Project Self-Sufficiency almost since its inception, and has been involved in many aspects of the organization, from providing stationery to creating invitations to printing larger scale projects.
