SPARTA, NJ – It was a magical night at the Sparta High School auditorium last week.  On Friday, Feb 26 the Alpine PTO sponsored a magic show fundraiser.  Unfortunately, a pipe had burst at the Alpine school requiring the event to be moved to the high school facility.  That turned out to be a good thing for the PTO.

The larger venue allowed them to sell additional tickets and raise more money.  They ended up with more than 700 people in attendance at the two shows.

The magician was David Corsaro.

Event organizer and PTO President Victoria Young said, “Alpine students and their families enjoyed an evening of interactive magic tricks.  Many students helped David on stage.  He also engaged the audience with comedic stylings and humor that filled the auditorium with laughter.”

Corsaro has over 20 years of experience as a professional magician.  He is also featured performer at one of New York City’s longest running off-Broadway magic shows.

Joe Leone, Principal at Alpine: “The Magic Show was an enormous success. David did a great job incorporating the students and entertaining all. Special thank you to the PTO board who helped organized the performance and Sparta High School who made accommodations for us.”
