NEWTON, NJ – Newton Day festivities are scheduled for Saturday, June 10.  The community is invited to Spring Street beginning at 11 a.m.  The event will include “loads of vendors and activities for all to enjoy” according to the town.   The event will move to Memory Park at night for a firework show beginning at dusk.

The Town of Newton announces Union Place will be closed on Tuesday, June 13 between Spring Street and Trinity Street.  The closure will happen between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
