NEWTON, NJ—Despite the mounds of snow covering Newton, residents from all over the county gathered on Spring Street to show off their Irish spirit.

With the exception of a few flurries in the morning, the 14th annual Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade went off without a hitch.

Over 700 people were walking or driving in the parade, along with eight floats and over 100 vehicles including fire trucks, first response vehicles, as well as others used to pull the floats.
