NEWTON, NJ—The investigation has come to a close surrounding the death of Wright, 19 of Andover, which took place on April 5 of this year.

According to police, it has been concluded that Wright’s death was accidental in nature and had occurred as a result of her leaning out of an apartment window at 144 Spring Street. 

During the investigation, Police determined that Wright had consumed alcohol that Newton resident, Dean Sugar, 33, had provided to her.

As a result, Sugar was charged with disorderly persons’-Providing Alcohol To A Person that Is Under Legal Age. The case is still pending an appearance in the Newton Municipal Court.
