NEWTON, NJ-- Four Newton residents and a Branchville man were arrested with 165 bags of heroin. The arrests and seizures were made by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force together with the Newton Police Department on September 27, according to police.

Drew Repasy, 33, of Newton, was arrested on Liberty Street with 10 bags of heroin. Repasy was charged with two counts of possession of heroin and released pending an appearance at Central Judicial Processing. 

Brian Johnson, 33, of Branchville, was arrested on Hampton Street with 10 bags of heroin and charged with one count of distribution of heroin and was lodged in the Sussex County jail.

Erin Dockray, 39, of Newton, was arrested on Main Street with 10 bags of heroin.  Dockray was charged with one count of distribution of heroin within a public park/building zone and one count of distribution of heroin and was lodged in the Sussex County Jail.

Ashley Womack, 32, of Newton, was arrested at 16 Union Place on an outstanding Superior Court Warrant along with conspiracy to distribute heroin and two counts of distribution of heroin. She was lodged in the Sussex County Jail.  Approximately 120 bags of heroin were seized from her, according to police.

Anntoinette Macdonald, 36, of Newton, was also arrested at 16 Union Place and charged with distribution of heroin and released pending an appearance at Central Judicial Processing.  Police say they took 15 bags of heroin from MacDonald Bags.

Newton Police Officers that were involved in both investigations were Sgt. Benson, Ptl. Morales, Ptl. Sperling, Sgt. Monaco, Ptl. Teets, Ptl. Zappa, Dsg. Vannieuwland, Det. Tosti, and Det. D’Annibale.
