According to a press release by the Newton theatre, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the longest running theatrical in history, playing continuously in theaters since 1975.”

The plot of the story takes a twist when Brad and Janet’s car breaks down and they unwittingly become houseguests of the outlandish Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Song, dance, and pandemonium ensue with an outrageous cast of characters.

“Rocky Horror has all the ingredients for a great time - a bizarre story, crazy characters and the music, jam-packed with such iconic songs like The Time Warp, Sweet Transvestite, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me and many more”, said the theatre.

The historic Newton Theatre is located at 234 Spring Street in Newton, NJ.  Additional information may be found at www.TheNewtonTheatre.com or by calling 973-940-NEWT.
