NEWTON, NJ–Sussex County Community College held a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s in Newton this past Saturday to support the SCCC Veterans Emergency Relief program. The SVER program raised just over $1,600.

The SVER program helps to support SCCC student veterans with additional funds to offset their household expenses. These funds allow students to continue with their education at SCCC and have peace of mind that additional assistance is available, if needed.

Additional events to support the SVER program at SCCC will be Rockin’ Fest which will be held on Thursday, June 30 at 5 p.m. Rockin’ Fest is a summer concert that takes place during the College’s Thursdays on the Green events.
