In a recent press release published by TAP into Sparta, Senator Steve Oroho asserts that "published reports" prove that people are moving out of New Jersey because of high taxes.
He's wrong. The only "published report" he cites shows that his statement is untrue.
According to his “proof”, "Tax planning was a factor but not the main reason for Tepper’s decision to move, according to a person familiar with the situation."
Senator Oroho (and the rest of the New Jersey legislature) should stop scapegoating taxes and get to work on the "main reasons" why people are moving from the state, and specifically from Sussex County.
