SPARTA, NJ – Santa Claus is coming to town. On Sunday, Dec. 6 the Recreation Advisory Committee invites Sparta’s children to holiday enjoy festivities at Station Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to photos with Santa there are several other activities. The Boy Scouts will be hosting Candy Cane Lane game booths. Youngsters can write their letters to Santa. There will also be popcorn and hot chocolate. Members of the Sparta High School Marching Band will be providing entertainment as well.

Some of the township’s emergency vehicles will be on site. Children can get an up close look at an ambulance, fire truck and police car.

Attendees are asked to bring a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Sparta Ecumenical Council Food Pantry.
