Kimberly A. Bragg Sparta BOE Candidate Statement
My name is Kim Bragg and I am running for election to the Sparta Board of Education (#5 on ballot). I was appointed to the Sparta BOE on June 29, 2016. Since then, I have learned a tremendous amount about the inner-workings of our district and would like to have the privilege of continuing the work I have started. I have seen firsthand the dedication required to serve on the Sparta BOE and would like to be elected on November 8 for a full three-year term. I am running alongside Kelly McEvoy and Todd Muth.
I am a former Marketing and Corporate Communications professional. As a decade-long volunteer in the Sparta schools, I have worked with staff and administration to offer support where needed. My goal is to continue supporting the extremely talented and dedicated Sparta district employees, all the while putting the kids first.
If elected, I commit to:
- Working to enhance the collaborative environment between students, parents, staff, administration, and community members, which will only further enhance our students’ educational experience.
- Improving transparency and communications between all stakeholders including students, parents, staff, administration, and community members.
- Always putting the best interest of the students first.
I take great pride in the community my family and I have called home for over 14 years. I am also proud that my children attend Sparta schools. I pledge to keep what is best for all of Sparta’s students at the forefront of all my decisions. As a Board member, I seek to do everything in my power to help Sparta continue to soar as a leading school district in New Jersey and beyond!
Please VOTE ballot #'s 1, 2 & 5 on November 8!
