SPARTA, NJ - The Sparta Board of Education has announced they will hold their September 24 meeting at Dykstra Park behind Mohawk Avenue School.  The meeting will open inside Mohawk Avenue School at 7 p.m. for a closed session.  

According to the meeting announcement the board members will hold an executive session to discus personnel and student matters and matters of attorney client privilege until 7:30 p.m.

When the board of education returns to public session they will go to Dykastra Park, "for health and safety reasons."

Should the weather not be conducive to an outdoor meeting, the board of education may move the meeting inside Mohawk Avenue School, at their discretion, according to the meeting annoucement.

Regardless of the location of the meeting it will be live streamed on YouTube.  The YouTube link will be posted to the Sparta.org homepage before the meeting.  Community members viewing the meeting online can submit questions to public.comment@sparta.org by 5 p.m. on September 24.  

"Due to the anticipated volume of comments, please limit yourself to one comment," the announcement said. "We will do our best to get through all comments, however, please note the public comment portion of the meeting will be limited to 45 minutes."
