CHATHAM, NJ - The 2017 season didn’t start well for the boys lacrosse team. The team lost to Chatham, 14-1, in their first game of the season. 

Stelios Kroudis scored the only goal for Sparta on the assist from Alex Milliken. The team only put up 11 shots and were down 10-0 at halftime. Goalie Matt Dumbroff had 11 saves.

Mac Bredahl had five goals and five assists to lead Chatham to the victory.

Sparta will be looking to avenge their first loss in their next game on Tuesday April 4 at West Essex.
