RANDOLPH, NJ - Sparta High School boys lacrosse fell to Randolph, 10-9, on Thursday. With only two minutes left on the overtime clock, TJ Lindquist scored for Randolph to break the tie.
For Sparta, Skyler Francisco, Tyler and Owen Mead and Erik Lanyi each had two goals. Owen Mead also contributed with two assists and Zack Eberding got one. Goalie Reagan Penner had 11 saves.
For Randolph, J.P. Southren had three goals and three assists. Mike Turner had three goals as well. T.J. Lindquist put two in the net with three assists. Matthew Carle, the goalie, had 14 saves.
Sparta, now 6-5, will face Montville at home on May 5.
