SPARTA, NJ – Sparta boys’ lacrosse squeaked out a win against Mount Olive on Friday 8-7.  Stelios Kroudis scored four times, including the tie breaking shot in overtime.   

Kroudis also scooped up three ground balls.

Jesse West added to goal and had 2 assists.  Owen Mead and Devon McIntyer each scored a goal.  Mead had four assists.

Daniel Smith was in the Spartan goal and had 11 stops.

Sparta has a season record of 13-0 and is currently ranked third in their NJSIAA group.  They will play their Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex quarterfinal game against Voorhees on May 10.
