Sparta Families Invited to First of Four Dykstra Park Summer Movie Nights

"The Secret Life of Pets" -- Think this is what they do all day?

SPARTA, NJ— With the school year coming to an end, Dykstra Park will kick-off the quickly approaching summer with the Summer Movie Season beginning this Saturday.

This weekend the featured film will be “The Secret Life of Pets” beginning at dusk, approximately 8:00pm. Families can gather around to win door prizes, have their faces painted, and enjoy DJ music prior to the movie beginning.

Families are encouraged to bring their favorite lawn chair or blanket. Beverages are also available for purchase.
Last summer, Sparta families enjoyed movies such as “Inside Out”, “Zootopia” and “The Jungle Book”.

  • Saturday, July 17 “Elf” – Christmas in July!
  • Saturday, August 19 “Finding Dory”
  • Saturday, September 9 “Sing”

Rain dates are scheduled for one week later after the intended date.
