DENVILLE, NJ - Eight players scored for the Lady Spartans Monday in their win over Morris Catholic. It was an easy win for Sparta, who earned their second win in as many games, 24-6.
It was not all offense, however. Defense was strong, only allowing 10 shots. Goalie Madison Levinson had four saves.
Jacqui Hallack continues to build on her scoring record, having broken the 100-goal mark in the previousl game.
Hallack and Kaitlin Mead had six goals and three assists each. Courtney Klein had four goals and one assist. Bayleigh Takacs had one goal and five assists.
Lauren Neufeld had two goals and two assists while Hailey Mead and Julianna McGuire had two goals each.
Sparta dominated in the face-off area as well, leading to their possession of the ball for most of the game. Brianna Falco had 7 ground ball wins. Kaitlin Mead and Hailey Mead had 6 and 5 wins, respectively.
Haley Driscoll had three goals for Morris Catholic while Rachel Petruska had two goals.
The girls are back in action at home Wednesday against Ramapo. They are 2-0 on the season.
