PEQUANNOCK,NJ - The Sparta girls lacrosse team lit up the scoreboard Tuesday behind the goal scoring of their three top forwards. Jacqui Hallack and  Kaitlin and Hailey Mead combined for 11 goals in the 17-2 victory.

Kaitlin Mead had her usual game. She led the scoring with another special game. Her seven goals paced Sparta throughout the game. The other Mead followed right behind her with three goals. Hallack also had three goals while providing an assist. Kaitlin Mead added ten groundballs to her box score while Hailey Mead had two assists and four groundballs.

Julianna McGuire scored a goal and had two assists to go with her seven groundballs. Brianna Falco put her name on the score sheet with a goal and three groundballs. Lauren Neufeld was assist queen with three helpers.

Sparta scored ten goals in the first half and seven in the second. They allowed just one in each half. Goalie Madison Levinson had seven saves to back stop the Lady Spartans to their ninth win.

Sparta is now 9-1. They play Thursday against Randolph.
