SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta girls’ lacrosse team lost to a tough opponent on Friday when they hosted West Morris Central.  Kaitlin Mead’s team record four goals was not enough.  The Spartans were outscored in the first half 13-7 and could only add four more in the second half for an 18 – 11 final score.

Hailey Mead had two goals. Courtney Kline, Jackie Hallack and Alex Curran all contributed as well.

Sparta is now 2-3 and will host Caldwell on Tuesday.
