ROXBURY, NJ - The season is off to a good start for the Sparta High School girls lacrosse team.  They got their second win in as many days though this one was harder to earn against Roxbury.  With Sparta down by three and only a few minutes of play they came battling back.  

It took an overtime goal to decide the winner with the final score of 11-10.

Kaitlin Mead was a force to be reckoned with scoring six goals.  Julianne McGuire found the net three times.  Bayleigh Takacs and Alex Curran each contributed one.

Sparta will travel to play Mt Olive on April 4 at 4 p.m.
