FLEMINGTON, NJ – Sparta girls soccer lost their bid for the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex championship title.  In Sparta’s first trip to the tri-county finals in the history of the program, they lost to Hunterdon Central 2-0.

It was a hard fought battle with no score in the first half.  Sparta’s freshman keeper Julia Flake stayed strong, as she has all season.

Cayleigh Glew came close with a break away shot and two rebounds in the same exchange.  The Hunterdon goalie needed assistance from one of her defensive players to stop Glew.
