MORRIS HILLS, NJ- Sparta girls track team continues their successful spring season with another dominant meet, this time at Morris Hills.

The Lady Spartans won seven races Wednesday. Gianna Marcones won three of her races. She was the fastest during a 100m sprint,; with a time of 12.4 seconds. Sparta had the top three sprinters in that race with Julia Liland and Lissi Hannan having a photo finish for second and third. 

Marones was not only the fastest on Wednesday. She had the best long jump with a score of 17 feet four inches. Katie Hannan came in third with a score of 15 feet and one and a half inches.  Marones won her third title when she finished with the best triple jump score.

Carlie Wilson had the best high jump with a score of 5 feet even.  Wilson also won her 400m race with a score of 1:02.4. Zoe Canzoniero finished third in that race. 

Michaela Pampin won the 800m race. The team of Liland, Wilson, Canzoniero and Emily Kosker won their 4x400m relay with a score of 4:15.2. Liland had her full day come to a close with another second place finish in 200m race. 

Mia Francis placed third in shot put and second in javelin. Julia Muth placed third in 3200m race.  Canzoniero finished second and Pampin finished third in the 400m low hurdles race.
