SPARTA,  NJ - Jack Simon once again led the Sparta High School golf team to victory. He has been either the top or the second place player in all four matches. In golf, any player could have a great round or a bad round. In a team event, you need to have a balanced team that stays consistent and all play a role to help attain a victory. Simon is proving to be that consistent player.

Simon posted a score of 38, which was four strokes better than the second place player. That player was Ryan Richardson, also a Spartan. Sparta swept the top three with Jimmy Apostolico posting a 44.

The top High Point player was Brandon LaBar, who posted a 45. Sparta's CJ Matthews also shot a 45. James Lynch and Jack Maloney finished out the top scorers with a 49.
