SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School athlete Stelios Kroudis has signed a letter of intent to continue his lacrosse career at Villanova University.
"Stelios is one of the toughest and hardest working players I have ever coached," Coach Tyler Meth said. "He is already so prepared for D1 lacrosse in terms of his maturity and work ethic. It won't be long before you see him scoring goals on national tv."
“I just want to thank everyone who has helped me along this journey because it has been a long one," Kroudis said."This is something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time and for it to come true is surreal. I’m beyond excited for the future ahead of me and could not have done it without my coaches, parents, and friends. Thank you everyone for the support.”
Sparta High School had one of the largest Division I signing classes in its history, according to the office of the school’s Athletic Director. This year the 10 athletes have signed National Letters of Intent at the fall signing deadline.
