SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School boys lacrosse had a big win on Saturday over Morristown 12-3, playing on Veterans field. 

Jesse West had a big game with four goals, three assists and two ground balls.  Stelios Kroudis was close behind with three in the net and two ground balls.

Devon McIntyre, Jack Valentine, Austin Castorina, Brendan Puszcz and Liam Armstrong each contributed a goal.

Russell Eberding won 12 of 18 faceoffs and grabbed eight ground balls.  Mike Freeman had three assists and two ground balls. 

Paddy Finnegan, Will McKenna, Justin Brick and Alex Milliken each snagged two ground balls.  Valentine, Ryan Rossiter, McIntyre Trais Tracy, Castorina and Michael Candeloro all had a ground ball as well.

Sparta goalie Reed McCall stopped 11 Morristown attempts and helped the cause with grabbing three ground balls.

The Spartans play again on Monday, hosting West Morris Central.
