SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School JV Girls Soccer had a good first week, winning all three games. 

They started with the Wallkill Rangers beating them 9-1.  Tori Seeland had an impressive four goals.  Erin Walsh, Julia Liland, Anya Helmer, Maddie McEllan and Emilly Kosker all contributed a goal as well.  It was a total team effort with Sarah Haag and Amanda Sandow each had an assist.  Molly Schelle had two assists.

The next win was against Roxbury 2-1.  Seeland and Marirose Fischer each had a goal with an assist by Kennenberger.

The final game of the week was a 2-1 victory over Chatham. Kellenberger and Fischer scored for Sparta assisted by Seeland.

 Coach Daniel Trappe named Marirose Fischer Player of the Week.
