SPARTA, NJ-Sparta High School Ski team had their second league slalom race last week.  

The girls finished second with at team time of 6:45.61.  Shannon Kaminski took first on the team and fourth over all. Rachel Stote had her best race of the year with a fifth place finish.   Alia Flanigan was right behind Stote in seventh place.
Alex Muino also had her season best,  with a second place finish in the JV slalom race.  
The boys finished fourth on Thursday night with a team time of the 6:13.31.  Ryan Dumbroff led the team taking seventh place with a combined time of 1:12.38.  
Each member of the JV boys team finished in the top ten.  Fraink Dolce finished first overall, Doug Triolo took third, Justin Allan fourth, Nicholas Tartaglia seventh, and Jack McGovern ninth.  
There will be a JV Championship race at Mt Peter.  Thursday Sparta High School skiers wil have the third Slalom Liberty race at Mountain Creek.  Friday the Varsity skiers will race in the Steven Perto Giant Slalom Invitational at Mountain Creek.
