SPARTA, NJ - Sparta High School seniors joined students from all over the country showing off the college they will be attending for the fall 2017 semester.  National Decision day is May 1.  Pictured here are some of the local seniors in their college gear.

"We are all very proud of all of our seniors, and congratulate them all," Principal Janet Ferraro said. "I'd like to thank them for participating today by wearing their school gear. I'd also like to thank Mr. Librizzi for organizing the efforts with the seniors and staff."

"We are so proud of the efforts of our graduating seniors," Assisitant Superintendent Dr. Daniel Johnson said. "I wish them the best of luck as they continue onto the next phase of their lives.  As they go, they should always remember, they are forever Spartans!"

JCP&L Latest Information, Free Ice and Water

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – As of 8:47 p.m. JCP&L is reporting 12,745 customers or 22.11 percent, are without power in Sussex County.  In Sparta 2749 or 32 percent remain in the dark.

JCP&L said they anticipate the “vast majority of the remaining customers to be restored to service by late Thursday.”
