Sparta Senior Brendan Erickson said, "We came together and achieved team chemistry quicker than we thought which led us to a 13, three and four season."

Both teams took to the ice with a lot of speed and determination.  The score went back and forth in the first and second period.  West Morris scored first.

SJU's Connor Erickson answered back less than a minute later assisted by Matt Redding and Brendan Erickson.

West Morris scored again early in the second period as both teams returned to the ice fired up.  It would be the final minute of the second period before SJU would bring the score back to even.  Jaxon Mase scored on the assist by Redding as they battled in front of the net.

The third period was all SJU and all about the penalties.  Brendan Erickson got the winning goal on a breakaway while SJU was on penalty kill.  Taking it into their zone, the Ericksons worked together, making it look easy.

Once again finding themselves on penalty kill, Mase got one by West Morris' goalie assisted by CJ Leonardo.

With the tables turned SJU scored the final two points of the game on the power play.  Connor Erickson got his second of the night assisted by Brendan Erickson and Redding.

Leonardo closed the door on West Morris with goal number six, taking advantage of a five on three power play.  He was assisted by Mike Kwiecinski and Mase.

Talking about his 100th point, Connor Erickson said, "I'm thankful to my fellow teammates to acheive this goal.  I will never forget the 'Derickson' line."

Connor Erickson and Mase each had two goals and an assist.  Brendan Erickson had a goal and two assists. Redding had three assists.

SJU finished their regular season with a record of 13-4-3.
