Brenden Reilly and Nick Montone put two more in the net to go ahead in the second period assisted by Leonardo again.  Kinnelon would close out the second period with another goal, brining it to 3-2 as they left the ice.

Colin Higdon teamed up with Nolan Kafafian and Redding for a third period goal.  That would not be enough as the Mustangs once again took advantage of a power play.

Montone then took advantage of an empty net making the score 5-3 with about a minute left in the game. Leonardo and Redding got the assist.

Kinnelon got one more with less than a minute to go but it was still not enough.

SJU goalie Logan Hanek had 18 saves in the outing.

Sparta Jefferson United has a 3-2 record so far.  They go up against Newton Lenape Valley on December 26 with an 8 p.m. start.
