Sparta Middle School Announces 2016-2017 Fourth Marking Period Honor Rolls

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta Middle School announces the students who have earned High Honor Roll and Honor Roll for the first marking period of the 2016-2017 school year.

Students who have earned A’s in all major subject, including World Language, with no grade below a B in any other class qualify for High Honor Roll. For Honor Roll students must earn three A’s in major subjects with no grade below a B in any other class.

Sparta Police: Drug Charges for Sparta Woman After Traffic Stop

SPARTA, NJ – A Sparta woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Route 15.  On April 21 around 11:10 a.m. Sparta Cpl. Joe Antonello stopped Marina Scheer, 20, because the license plate on her green Toyota was bent making it impossible to read, according to police.
