Sparta Middle School Announces Third Marking Period Honor Rolls


SPARTA,  NJ - Sparta Middle School announces the students who have earned High Honor Roll and Honor Roll for the first marking period of the 2016-2017 school year.

Students who have earned A’s in all major subject, including World Language, with no grade below a B in any other class qualify for High Honor Roll.  For Honor Roll students must earn three A’s in major subjects with no grade below a B in any other class.

SPARTA. NJ – A Newark man who thought he was heading to Atlantic City only won a trip to the Sparta Police Department headquarters after being stopped for speeding.  On June 18 around 3 a.m. Cpl. SPARTA, NJ – Two men from Brooklyn, New York stopped for speeding are facing drug charges.  On June 16 around 11 a.m. Sparta Police Officer Thomas Herd pulled over a grey Toyota Rav4 driven by David Mai, 20 going 95 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, police said.

Update: Police Break Up Fight Involving 40-50 People at Bridgewater Commons Mall

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — No injuries have been reported in an incident that shut down Bridgewater Commons Mall Thursday evening after a fight involving a crowd of 40-50 people.
