SPARTA, NJ – A Stockholm resident is facing drunk driving charges when she did not go when a traffic light turned green.  On June 16 around 1:15 a.m. Police Officers Thomas Snyder and Jonathan Poon stopped Christina Sacerdote, 52, police report.

When the officers spoke with the driver they determined she had been driving her white Mazda under the influence of alcohol.  Sacerdote was given field sobriety tests and taken into custody, police report.

She was taken to Sparta Police Department headquarters for breath testing.  She was charged with DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, maintenance of lamps, failure to observe traffic control device, unclear plates.  She was released to a sober adult with a court date.
