SPARTA, NJ – A Stockholm woman is facing charges when she was stopped for speeding through a closed road.  On October 11 around 11:50 p.m. Tracy Deangelis, 31, was stopped on West Mountain Road after Officer Craig Grauerholz saw her drive through the closed portion of CR 517 going 55 MPH in a 35 MPH, police said.

When Grauerholz spoke with Deangelis she told the officer she had marijuana.  A search of the car yielded two glass crack pipes, police said.

Deangelis was taken into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing.  She was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right and cracked windshield.  She was given a court date and released.
