SPARTA, NJ — A Sparta woman was found to have outstanding warrants after being stopped for making right turn on a red light without stopping first. On July 26 around 11 p.m. Police Officer Brian Porter stopped Jamie Rhodes, 41 in a black Kia Sportage, police said.

When Porter checked Rhodes licensed the officer found she had warrants with full extradition from Volusia County Florida. The warrants were related to charges of fraudulent use of personal identification information and possession of a schedule 4 substance, police said.

Rhodes was taken into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department headquarters for processing. Volusia County was also contacted. Rhodes was ticketed for turns at controlled intersection, failure to exhibit registration and failure to have mirrors required on a motor vehicle, police report.

Rhodes was taken to Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility to await extradition to Florida.
