SPARTA, NJ – a Sussex woman is facing drug charges after being stopped for a broken headlight. On December 22 around 12:30 a.m. Officer Timothy Lynott stopped Lauren Reiff, 28 in a silver Hyundia SUV on Route 15 north, police report.
When talking with Reiff, the officer saw a plastic bag of syringes and a prescription bottos in Reiff’s purse, police said.
Reiff was taken into custody for possession of unauthorized syringes and prescription legend drugs. She was taken to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing, police said.
Reiff was charged with possession of syringes and possession of prescription legend drugs. She was released with a court date.
