SPARTA, NJ – A Sparta man is facing additional charges after driving with a suspended license.  On June 1 around 7 a.m. Sparta dispatch got a call reporting Matthew McCann, 47 was driving with a suspended license, police said.

Police Officer Thomas Snyder stopped McCann in a black Audi on Sparta Avenue, shortly after the call was made, police report.

McCann was taken into custody for driving while suspended and having an active warrant out of the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department for child support.  He was processed at Sparta Police Department Headquarters before being turned over to Sussex County Sheriff’s Department.
