SPARTA, NJ – A man from Perth Amboy was picked up on an outstanding warrant after being stopped for having an unclear license plate. On August 2 around 8:40 a.m. Police Officer Brian Porter pulled over Jefry Henriquez-Santos, 24 driving a white box truck, police said.
Porter found that Henriquez-Santos’ license had been suspended because of an outstanding warrant. He was taking into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department headquarters for processing.
He was charged with failure to allow an overtaking vehicle, failure to notify of change of address, careless driving, failure to display documents, failure to keep right on a highway and driving while suspended. He was released with a new court date in Perth Amboy.
