SPARTA, NJ- A Pennsylvania man with an outstanding warrant is facing additional charges related to drunk driving. On June 18, around 10:50 p.m. Sparta Police Officer Arlene Lippencott followed up on a report of an erratic driver, police report.
Lippencott found the red Hyundai on Route 10 north and saw that the driver David Eisner could not stay in his lane. When she stopped and spoke with the 35-year-old from Dingman’s Ferry, Pennsylvania Lippencott suspected he was intoxicated, according to police.
A check of Eisner’s license showed his license was suspended and that Eisner had an outstanding warrant for $1212 from Roxbury Township. Eisner was taken into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for sobriety and breath testing, police report.
Eisner was charged with DWI, careless driving and driving while suspended. Roxbury Police Department released Eisner on his own recognizance giving him a future court date. Eisner was released to a sober adult pending a court date, police report.
