SPARTA, NJ – The men and women at SCARC ushered in the holidays with a Christmas party and dance on Friday.  About a dozen people, many dressed for the holidays, arrived to find the room decorated in a winter wonderland theme.

“Bill the choir director” put together a book of traditional seasonal music and pictures for everyone.  They were led in songs beginning with Joy to the World, Silent Night and Oh Little Town of Bethlehem.  People joined in with instruments for Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman.

They were looking forward to lunch and dancing later in the afternoon.

Since 1957 SCARC has been helping Sussex County families meet the needs of their children and adults with developmental disabilities.
