Sparta Soccer Club Has Four MCYSA Flight Winners Fall 2014

The Sparta U8 Rockets were flight 1 champions this fall in the Morris county Youth Soccer Association. The girls finished with an 8-0-2 record, outscoring opponents 42-6. SPARTA, NJ - The Sparta Soccer Club is proud to have four travel teams as 2014 Morris County Youth Soccer Association flight winners this Fall. With 16 teams participating in the MCYSA this past fall the Sparta Soccer Club was particularly proud to have had four winners this fall.  This  which follows up a 2014 Spring that had five flight winners

The teams that won their respective flights this year were the U08 Boys Sounders team coached by Jill Connors, the U08 Girls team coached by Tim Connors, the U11 team coached by Gerry Ryan and the U13 team coached by Gary Yarnall.

“Each team saw fantastic growth in its players and all look forward to a strong 2015 Spring season,” said Jason Kellenberger, VP of Travel. “We congratulate them on their team and individual accomplishments in life and in the sport of soccer.”

The Sparta Soccer club will kick off the travel MCYSA Spring season soon with winter training for its teams beginning on January 26 at the Sparta Fieldhouse. While the travel program is a fall and spring commitment, it is never too late to join.

“Some of the teams are looking for players like our U11 boys with birthdates from August 2003 to July 2004 for example, said Kellenberger.
