WEST MILFORD, NJ – The Sparta Spartan Youth Football program had two teams in the NJ Youth Football League Championship games on Saturday.  Both the Super Pee Wees or Lites and Midgets or Heavies played at West Milford High School for their division titles.

The seventh grade boys on the Super Pee Wee team had a heart-breaking loss in the last play of the game against West Milford.  They were led by Head Coaches Brian Monaghan and Doug Brancy.

The eighth grade boys on the Midget team maintained their undefeated status.  The hard fought game against High Point ended with the Spartans on top at the end of a double overtime battle. The Sparta Heavy team was led through their season by Head Coaches Sean Brown and Dennis Daggett.

Spartan President Ron Piemonte said, “My sincere congratulations to the families, players and coaches of both teams for their outstanding accomplishments during the 2015 season.”
