SPARTA, NJ – In the middle of the winter, cold and gray, there will be a day of family fun and night out for adults.  The Sparta Recreation committee is once again sponsoring the Winter Carnival day on Saturday, February 11 and 12.

While this is a long-standing tradition the committee announces there will be new activities.  Beginning at 1 p.m. the Sparta Middle School will be busy with carnival booths and games, a bounce house, face painting, sand art, tattoos, crafts and other demonstrations.

A Gaga pit game, magician and photo booth are new additions to the fun.
