SRF's Craft Beer & Wine Tasting/Meet and Greet rescheduled to Nov. 4

MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, N.J. —The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) is rescheduling the Craft Beer & Wine Tasting/Meet and Greet that was arranged for this Oct. 14 to Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Rd., Cream Ridge, N.J.

The Meet and Greet will coincide with SRF's seasonal kick off of a month long adoption special. From Oct. 15 to Nov. 15, adopt a horse for $350. Horses that can be companions only have no adoption fee.  

On Nov. 4 sample craft beers and wines while meeting more than 65 horses. Many will be shown under saddle, both Western and English disciplines, with the trainer and volunteers. Staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding adoption, fostering, the organization, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and information regarding horse sponsorship.

SRF is the largest Standardbred adoption program in the U.S. with over 3,000 adoptions since 1989. SRF is different as it helps Standardbreds exclusively, young, aged, injured, neglected, or abused; is feeding and caring for more than 240 trotters and pacers; providing lifetime homes for more than 150 retirees; provides lifetime follow-up for every adopted horse, never to be at risk again.
