As residents of Sparta Township, we have a choice to make. I am writing in an effort to encourage my family, friends and neighbors to join me in choosing ACADEMICS, COMMUNITY & TRANSPARENCY by electing Kurt Morris to serve, on the Sparta Township Board of Education, in the upcoming elections this November 5th.

As a lifelong resident of Sparta, Kurt has become ingrained in the fabric of the Sparta Community;  a graduate of the Sparta School System, an active member of many community organizations and events, and a 19 year veteran of law enforcement and the Sparta Police Department, where he has committed to serve and protect the community that has influenced his commitment to uphold the highest expectations for himself, and his community.

Kurt's approach is one in which recognizes Sparta schools as being, and having always been, GREAT; one in which was built on a solid foundation of diligence in maintaining high standards and an unwavering commitment to unity and acceptance, as we have embraced the evolution of our once rural community to one that has grown to compete among the best in the state.

Kurt believes in core values, in teaching our children through modeling  the importance of maintaining the highest level of honesty and transparency, practicing fiscal responsibility through curious inquiry and approaching each issue, and potential decision, from a holistic standpoint, where our cohesive strength can identify and resurrect our hidden treasures and continue to build upon the very foundations that first defined Sparta's unstoppable tenacity!

Our unique and amazing Sparta Community has endured an overwhelming amount of turnover within our schools, gaining us a  reputation for providing a stepping stone for administrators looking to reach "the top." This rotating door, within our administration, has dictated  initiatives that are designed for the individual, continually left incomplete, and at a disadvantage to our district's resources, time and efforts to maintain realistic, responsible and measurable excellence.

Kurt Morris will ask the questions, open the discussion and lead us to hold true to  the commitment and values that the foundation of Sparta was built upon.

I ask you to join me in supporting Bragg, Morris and Grano, for Sparta Board of Education, by voting #3, #4, and #5.
