SPARTA, NJ - Both the Sparta Township Council and the Sparta Board of Education have named TAP into Sparta their official electronic news source.

First to make the move was the board of education. At the most recent meeting on Jan 25, all were in favor of the resolution. The Township Council then followed suit with a similar resolution at their latest meeting on Tuesday, Feb 9.

The governing bodies will provide notices and other matters according to the Open Public Meetings Act, or “The Sunshine Law,” to TAP into Sparta. TAP will join The New Jersey Herald, The Sparta Independent and The Star Ledger as official news sources.
