WEST POINT, NY - Boy Scout Troop 150 attended the Scoutmaster’s Council Camporee at the United States Military Academy, West Point this past weekend.  More than 250 Troops and Crews were there with an attendance of more than 6,500.  Troops traveled from as far as Michigan, North Carolina and California to attend the event. 

One of Troop 150’s Eagle Scouts, Dylan Panicucci, is completing his first year at West Point as a Cadet.   The Scouts started their day with Physical Training at 6 a.m.  It was led by Cadet Panicucci. 

Throughout the day, there were sixteen challenge events, each emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and Scouting skills.  Troop 150 took first place in the drill competition.  The Scouts also participated in the Army Ranger challenge which included the infamous ground call.
