SPARTA, NJ - Veritas Christian Academy women's basketball team's record moved to 4-0 after they defeated Bergen County Christian Academy 56-9.  The Lady Lions lead 23-2 after the first quarter while cruising to the win. 

Senior guard Chloe Milanesi scored 16 points with two three pointers and sophomore Mackenzie Meyers added 10 points and 12 rebounds. 

Morgan Meyers, Charlotte Milanesi and Rose Rockman finished off the scoring with eight, six and six points respectively.

In the men's action, the Lions lead 43-23 at half with big contributions from senior Dylan Cuperus and junior forward Ethan Mulder. Veritas withstood a strong push by Bergen County Christian Academy to hold onto a 69-62 win. The Lions improved to 2-2 on the season.

Both teams will play Trinity Christian School on Tuesday, December 10th before heading to New York to compete in the Ross Corners Invitational.
