Volunteers are needed to tutor young adults in science, math, social studies and English as part of the New Jersey Youth Corps high school equivalency and employment skills training program offered by Project Self-Sufficiency.  Opportunities are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.  The New Jersey Youth Corps gives young adults the opportunity to augment their literacy skills, prepare for the high school equivalency exam, obtain on-the-job work experience, and transition into a career, college or the military.  Interested volunteer tutors are invited to call New Jersey Youth Corps Program Coordinator Valerie Hogan at 973-940-3510.  For more information about Project Self-Sufficiency or the New Jersey Youth Corps program, visit www.projectselfsufficiency.org.
