VOORHEES, NJ - The Sparta boys lacrosse team let up the tying goals in the fourth quarter but were able to win it in overtime behind Jesse West's goal on Tuesday against Voorhees. The final score was 8-7.

West had himself an afternoon with two goals and two assists. Stelios Kroudis added three goals and an assist.

Russ Eberding kept his domination on face-offs going with 16 wins on 19 tries with 12 groundballs.

Mike Freeman and Beck Gozdenovich added a goal. Alex Milliken had two assists and five groundballs.

Goalie Reed McCall kept Sparta in the game with 11 saves. Sparta scored four goals in the third quarter to flip a two goal deficit to a two goal lead.

Sparta is now 4-7 on the season. They play Bergen Catholic next Tuesday.
